Frank Sinatra An American Legend by Nancy Sinatra wrote:It was "The Night of the Thousand Sinatras" in Las Vegas. All three performing Sinatras were booked simultaneously: Dad at Caesars, Frank Jr. at the Frontier and me at the International (Hilton) for my first nightclub appearance. Dad flew in some friends from L.A., who saw my eight o'clock show. After a dinner break, I joined them for Dad's midnight show. And we all took in my brother's 2 a.m. show. Frankie then treated us to a chuckwagon breakfast.
So many images shown on this page are down to photographer Oscar Abolafia. Oscar was seemingly in the right place at the right time with the best of them at this point in time. Oscar was also at the press conference Elvis gave just after midnight on August 1st 1969, just after his first show in Vegas. I don't know which are 100% his and which are 100% not, but I'd love to mark any where the photographer is known, so please say if you do know the person the other side of the lens.
