I have these as July 30, 1970, after his rehearsal at the studio.

Not sure if it was gone midnight when he left and so they got labelled 31st.

Checked all the books but none are clear on this.

I reckon Alan is right - the rehearsals went past midnight, so as he left & was photographed with fans, it was the 31st.

If you're referring to the MRS release Summer Festival - 1970 - The Rehearsals the three CDs are:

CD 1 - Rehearsals on14th & 15th July 1970 -
CD 2 - Rehearsals on 24th July 1970
CD 3 - Rehearsals on 24th & 29th July 1970.

Just looking at the photos again, it's the top right one which shows Elvis getting into the car.
The others could be getting in or out or having already got out.
But this one photo places it as being after the rehearsal.

It can't be the 30th after the starting point of the 29th as we have Elvis in differing attire.
