Gov. Cliff Finch presents singer Elvis Presley with a plaque commemorating his election to the Mississippi Entertainment Hall of Fame. The presentation came before Presley's sellout concert Sunday night in Jackson.

The caption is wrong, the award was given before the show because Elvis mentioned it during the concert.
