In the Phoenix forum several Elvis purist fans are lambasting the movie just by viewing the trailer.. that speaks volume about their mentality. Some also putting down the soundtrack. They are just like the old folks back then in the 50's talking about Elvis's music. I guess in that respect we can say his music has come full circle, his fans are the old folks now condemning the current music of today.

If they want Elvis to be current as opposed to buried in the past then they have to embrace the NOW, not the then.

The music police arent going to come round and remove all the original songs from out collection and force anyone to replace them with the new versions.

We had all this in 2002 with A Little Less Conversation. That one song did so much to bring Elvis back to that days music scene, a feat no amount of money alone could buy.
I found some of those new songs quite addictive, bring it on!
