I think silverwings means Dottie Harmony who spent Christmas 1956 with Elvis.

Buddies, sorry for not being fully informative in the first place, but here is my collection of pics of that day. Maybe I missed some of them considering the number of the reporters present, and I just guessed the sequence of the pics. Also I think there is a short video clip of this event.
Elvis Presley at Kennedy Veterans Hospital on Getwell.
Elvis drove with his Cadillac Eldorado to the Kennedy Veterans Hospital in Memphis for a pre-induction physical for his draft status that afternoon. He was accompanied by Cliff Gleaves and Dottie Harmony. Later in the day Dottie flew back to Los Angeles and Elvis took the train later that evening to New York for his third and final appearance at the Ed Sullivan show 'Toast of the Town Show' which broadcast January 6.
